3D Printed Accessories for Electricians — What We Offer and Why
Share
Sometimes when working on an installation or a panel you need a small item that simply isn't sold on its own — a holder, a template, an organizer. Or it only comes bundled with a whole product. That's where 3D printing helps. At Electrodoc.bg we offer a selection of 3D printed accessories that make an electrician's everyday work easier.
What 3D printing is
3D printing (additive manufacturing) creates a physical object from a digital 3D model by depositing material layer by layer. Unlike conventional machining, where material is removed from a blank, here material is added gradually. This makes complex shapes possible without expensive moulds or tooling.
Why 3D printing
- Solves small problems that off-the-shelf products don't cover
- No minimum runs — economical even for a single piece, since no mould is needed
- Cheaper than ordering a whole component for one small part
- Complex shapes — internal channels, clips and slots that are hard to make any other way
How it is used in electrical work

The most common uses are holders and organizers for terminals and cables, mounting templates, caps, spacers and helper tools that make installation faster and tidier.
3D printing materials
The most common printers (FDM) use plastic filaments with different properties:
- PLA — easy to print, with good detail and strength. Suitable for indoor accessories and organizers.
- PETG — tougher and more resistant to moisture and heat. For functional parts under load.
- ABS — withstands higher temperatures, but is harder to print.
- TPU — flexible and elastic. For seals and anti-vibration mounts.
Why our products are made of PLA
All our 3D printed products are made of PLA. It is strong and stable under normal indoor conditions — in a workshop, a toolbox or a residential electrical panel. PLA is not suitable for places with high temperatures, direct sunlight or direct contact with a heat source.
What we offer
For panels and installation
- LOTO lock for circuit breakers — locks a switched-off breaker with a padlock during repairs so it cannot be switched on by accident
- Holder for 3 WAGO 221 connectors (DIN rail) and holder for 2 five-wire WAGO 221 connectors — for tidy connectors in a panel or junction box
- Mounting template for 2 and for 3 wall boxes Ø68 mm — for fast and accurate marking when installing sockets and switches
For insulating tape
- Insulating tape roll stand — all colours in one place
- Insulating tape dispenser — tear off tape with one hand
Organizers and measuring
- Small parts box with 12 compartments and organizer with 14 compartments — for nuts, bolts, washers and terminals
- Bolt organizer and gauge 5–40 mm — sorts bolts by length
- Bolt and nut gauge M3–M10 — finds the size in seconds
Design and licensing
The models are based on designs by authors from online 3D printing communities such as Thingiverse, Printables and MakerWorld. We value the designers' work and are gradually adding the author's name to the description of every product.
